BIOINFORMATICS
The GVGDC offers a bioinformatic service that provides:
- Custom database development in the field of biomedical research
- Programming of custom sample tracking systems
- Development of custom interfaces and applications for biomedical research
- A SNP and microsatellite genotype database system for the upload and retrieval of linkage and association data in the input format of the genetic analysis programs
- An interface for the trimming of vector sequence from sequence reads followed by BLAST of insert sequence and graphical representation of insert position in the genome
- A sample tracking system of DNA extracted from blood originating from multiple centers nationwide
Software downloads for working with sequence/genotype data
